Has anyone while being pregnant had a VTE assessment? My bloods have come back fine so im a bit confused as to why I am having one. If people have what does it entail?

Thanks

A VTE assessment is to assess the likihood of you developing a blood clot through pregnancy and post delivery. Completed on most if not all patients. It is an risk assessment to identify who is more likely to develop a blood clot and the steps required to prevent it. Nothing to worry about. I've had mine which means post delivery I will require injections to hopefully ensure that I don't develop a blood clot. Hope that helps k x
