Hi :)

I've been using cloth with our 7mo little girl since she was born: you definitely won't regret it! They're so much nicer than horrid disposables on baby's bum, the planet and your bank balance!

What you go for really depends on a few factors, so it would be worth talking in more depth about it. Please feel free to send me a message, I'd be more than happy to talk it through with you :)

Hi there,

We used pop-in reusable nappies by closer parent with our first baby and plan on using them again for our second. They washed really well and we're very easy to put together. You do need a bit of a routine to wash, dry and put together, but that said I'm not the most organised by any means and we never ran out. We used the tots bots flushable nappy liners with them as we found them to be the right size and you can get some good offers on them from Tesco, boots and Amazon etc. We also used reusable bamboo wipes which we found so much easier than cotton wool.

We did use disposables for the first month or so just because the reusables were a bit too big on our son at first.

Hope that helps.

We bought some for my son but when he was born he was quite chunky, especially

His bum and thighs so finding trousers that he fitted in was difficult enough without the chunky reusable nappies. When he wore reusable nappies it just looked ridiculous and trousers didn't fit so we stopped using them...

I use g nappies but originally started with little lamb bamboo and totbots bamboo with wraps. There are so many different types that so.e people cant fet on with certain ones. I would advise you to look up you nearest nappy library and hire a bundle drom them as it will have different types in it and you will be able to find out what works best for you. If your ever unsure of where to look and have a Facebook account try typing nappy library in your search bar. There are also loads of advice groups that may be able to help you in the future. Hope this helps and Good luck x

Try the nappy library. We ended up with mostly gnappies as it suited my kids shape, I initially thought Bum Genius was the way forward, but she was too slim and I couldn't get a good fit. Charlie Banana and a Fuzzibunz One Size, were easy to adjust tummy and thigh so they worked well. I didn't know about nappy libraries, so I bought 1 of 6 different brands and sold the ones that didn't work. And the best part of reusable nappies is No poo explosions! They fit and seal off the bum, so nothing shoots up the babies back and out the legs! The few times I thought it would be convenient to use a disposable, i had to completely change baby, the car seat, and blankets. Yes washing a couple extra loads can be a bit smelly, but far less stain removing in the end!

Not what you're looking for?
