It could quite possibly be the case hun. I dont want to get your hopes up but at the same time dont lose all hope. I was told I had an ectopic pregnancy too and that has resulted in a very cheeky 27 month old girl. There is a high possibility they could be wrong so try keep an open mind. It will feel like a long wait til thursday but my fingers are crossed for you x

Really praying that its good news for you. I had slight early bleeding at 6 weeks recently, went to the early pregnancy unit in Edinburgh to be checked and they discovered I had an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube. Because it as so large already, and they were concered the tube was on the point of bursting, they had to take me in immediately for emergency surgery to remove the tube. Unfortunatly they tried keyhold surgery but it didn't work, so I've got a huge scar like a c-section. It was a really frightening time for my husband and I, especially as I had already had a miscarriage in January. I was in hospital for three day afterwards, and am at home now recuperating, with 6 weeks of work. We're both healing, its taking time, but relieved to know I was right to go and get it checked as it would have been much worse otherwise.

I had an ectopic two years ago which they treated with an injection so no tube removal. I continued to try for a baby once the 3 month period post injection was up, and was pregnant again within a year. Very few problems during pregnancy and labour and I now have a beautiful baby girl. Just goes to show that ectopic pregnancy are not the end of the world.

Hi. I am in hospital now have been since Saturday. My hcg level did increase so they done a scan. This scan was inconclusive so waiting for levels to double again and repeat scan. So still no answers. Am still having pain in left side so just being monitored till Wednesday. I have been told it's more than likely ectopic and if or whem confirmed they will remove tube via keyhole.
