Why would parents choose to use fertility treatment? Me and my wife have been thinking about it and we're looking for the pros and cons
Lmao I know :-\ I thought it was just me haha xx
Clicking on the name it appears this is "p-diddy's" only activity on here so I'm guessing it's spam! Thought I'd lost it and baby brain had gone mad!
So many nutters, so little time....
In answer to the actual question.. I personally don't have any fertility experience, Some close friends of ours have so I can only tell you of their experience. They are an older couple... but fertility issues would have been the same in their 20s they have spent thousands on ivf, had at least 10 attempts then they had a son who is now 5. They have been having more cycles as they are desperate for a 2nd but it's not happening I think now there is only one viable egg left. They are so desperate for another, it's a massive strain financially and emotionally but I think they are determined to keep trying because it has worked once before. It's a tiny shred of hope but it's there...
As someone who hasn't personally been in that position, it's very difficult to appreciate how hard it must be. I think the the worry is that it can get "addictive" (probably the wrong word but I hope you get what I mean)
You may be entitled to some nhs ivf but I'm pretty sure it's very limited.
Are you trying to weigh up between keeping trying, IVF and adoption?

No one here cares about Obama and what does do, doesn't do, wears, how he looks, smells, WHATEVER. Please learn how to spell communist correctly when using it so often. Finally, do one you weird little children. Thanks
Erm... You mention Matthew Baines who "discovered the earth" in your 1st paragraph of nonsense then refer to "God" in the 2nd... why would the earth need to be discovered if "God" created it and man and everything on it?
I don't know a lot about fertility treatment, but you would need to see your GP first to get some tests done. These would show up anything which would cause a problem with fertilisation. Although one may not get good results, at least a potential problem would be identified and then fertility options would be discussed.
Many people go through fertilisation treatment with successful results. However, from what I understand, such procedures can be expensive and stressful. And sadly, some people will not have successful treatments.
I think if you have had trouble conceiving, it's worth talking through your options with a health professional, to get a clear idea of what it entitles. X
My other half was adamant no ivf so I went for acupuncture to a specialist. Might be worth a go as an alternative or whilst you are waiting... Good luck! Xx
For some, me inclded it's the only option to being able to have/carry your own children. but it is very emotionally, physically and possibly financially challenging, so it isn't for everyone. thre are infertility counsellors in the uk who can help a couple make the decision as to what is right, and you may wish too look at INUK for support.
