Kotex " night time" pads are good for those first few days after a birth of a child as they have a cotton like feeling top layer but unfortunately they don't have wings.

When I had my daughter ( just over 3 months ago) I couldn't find any decent enough maternity pads than this but there's most likely a better choice in a online store such as EBay or etc.....

xx

The Mothercare own brand maternity pads are great. They have wings, they're soft & very padded so they're nice to wear. I tried others but always went back to these. Don't get the ones with aloe vera though as they can sting if you have stitches x

I just used normal sanitary towels and I had stitches and it didn't sting or irritate me in any way x

I second Jacksonla. I used the mothercare own brand with wings. No complaints from me!

I also tried Mothercare own brand which I found excellent xx

Boots own brand, singly wrapped with wings. Didnt use them til week 3 or so as quite thin compared to others. Normally sanitary towels really shouldn't be used if you have tear or stitches apparently as the draw moisture in which can effect healing. ( so I was told anyway!) X

I haven't had my lo yet, but was advised to get asda's own - little angels range. That's what's in my bag ready for when the time comes. X

I know you said with wings but I used tescos own straight after birth and didn't irritate my stitches or leak or anything and are really thick and soft

I got mine from mothercare. Which I found r good. I did use normal towels with my first child + got told off for using them because it was no good for my stitches.

Hey! How different a conversation is once you have children! I used Tesco and Morrisons own and I found them really good! They don't have wings though and I thought that I wouldn't like them without wings but they fit wonderfully and felt comfortable! I was also told not to use always brands by my midwife as they may interfere with stitches and also they have a fragrance! Enjoy! XxxX
