22+2 and I haven't felt my little girl move around or any kicking since yesterday. Should I be worried as she's been very active this week??

Hello,

what time yesterday?? she still has plenty of room to wiggle around so she may have turned and be facing your back you wouldnt feel that as much.I felt my little man from about 18 weeks quite a lot but then got to 22, 23 weeks and seemed to go ages without feeling him move. She may have been moving more once you started to relax so maybe while you were sleeping last night. Have you tried lying on your side and drinking a cold glass of water??

If you are unsure get yourself checked out as you will only worry more, ring your midwife or your hospital

Try not to worry, im pretty sure they say at your stage you may not feel her everyday

If you're ever worried re: a lack of foetal movement, always call mat triage. No one is going to think you over reacted. Trust me, most healthcare professionals would rather be called about something that turns out to be nothing than not called about 'nothing' that becomes something and an emergency...

Hi guys thanks for the responses. I was thinking of calling but I think they would just say don't worry. But I'm trying not to worry. I'm hoping she's just moved position hence lack of feeling movements and kicking. What's the best ways to try get movements so I feel her? I know you have said glass of cold water but that hasn't done anything. Xx

get a freezing glass of water or anything cold, ice lollies or some ice and lay down or on ur left side and giv it some time and see if tht works. they wont say don't worry...they will tell u too come in and b monitored for a short time. They wud rather u say u hadn't felt movement or it hasn't been the same for a day rather than get too Monday and u call them and say haven't felt anything for 3 days. seriously if u r in doubt call up...u wont be the first woman and u certainly wont b the last, I have done it and the sense of relief is better than stressing over it, so please call x

You could try the cold drink water thing & lay on left, try playing music to belly that used to get mine moving! Umm, something sweet & sugary to eat X

Hi - im 26 wks but had something similar last weekend. Had 3 days of reduced movement when she is normally super busy. Ended up calling the hosp and going to triage. Was in for 5 mins heard her heartbeat and that was it - she has been quiet all wk but thinking it must be a phase and trying not to worry! I would get checked out even just to put ur mind at rest the ladies st the hosp were lovely. Good luck and sure it will be fine xx

We are also 26+6 and kind of nervous because she might move a lot by herself for few days, and then she can stay few days with little movement. If we put music to her, she gets crazy. Her hb156 approx
