Even 2 faint lines! I had crampy pains and thought the same as you, but it never came :) Congratulations!! x

Try again in a week's time. If you are pregnant, the line will get stronger indicating higher hormone levels.

Really lol I had tests like that with my youngest and I did 5 cz I didn't believe it lol any line in test area is positive. Best to do those type in a morning but clear blue are great if you need extra reassurance :-) period type pains are quite normal its just everything settling down for the next 9 months :-) you might get them on and.off for a few weeks hun. Were you trying for baby or has it . come as a shock lol xx

Thanks everyone it's so helpful to be able to talk to others! No it's a massive shock I have irregular periods so I only noticed because of the pain in my breasts! I have had some nausea but thought it must be in my head! I'm going to do another test the first thing tomorrow morning hopefully I get a darker line then I will be phoning my doctors (I think that's the next step!) I start a new job next month so the timing isn't perfect it its exciting! Xx

Mine was even more faint than that....got a double pack from boots for a fiver. Both really faint. When my boyfriend got home I went and bought a clearblue digital one with conception indicator so I could see the words in front of me and that was def better :-)

it certainly looks positive to me. I had very very faint lines that were "barely there" and decided I wanted it in clear writing whether i was or not just so there was no confusion. I bought a clearblue and there it came up "pregnant 2-3 weeks".

If you still cant believe it, I would fully recommend that you get the clearblue because it will tell u in no uncertain terms that u r. Congrats mommy xx

Woohoo congratulations! X

Thats the same as my first three tests came out and I'm having my 12 week scan on monday so congratulations :D

If you're still not convinced wait another day or two and retest, the price of the test has no indication on how well it worked, they all contain the same test strips (my midwife told me this little nugget of info!) so £2 strips from wilko's will work as well and give the same result as a single £12.99 clear blue from boots. If you decide to test again, I'd wait till probably sunday morning, make sure to use the first pee of the day as this will have the highest concentration of Hcg in it. Don't read the result after about ten minutes as a negative can show as a false positive, a real positive will show up within 2 minutes. Congratulations again, and if you need answers to questions, remember we're all here for you :D

Hey all after 7 tests in total I am definitely pregnant! Thank you all for your help, I am just waiting now for a dating scan so I know how far along I am, as we were not planning this I really was not keeping an eye on my cycle so we have no idea how far I am!

The news went down well with my partner though he is happy which has made me a lot happier! Fingers crossed everything goes well from now x
