Bleeding at 16+3 weeks and worried.

Hi guys me again went to visit hubby in Bristol he was at wok yesterday so I decided to do some shopping and cook him dinner. Had my midwife appointment on friday she couldn't find heart beat. After dinner I was just lying in bed wen I felt very wet so I check I was bleeding. Its sun can't do anything till monday but I am worried just lost 1 child can't cope with the lost of another. Any advice wat to do till monday.

Hiya. Are you still bleeding now or has it eased off? If you are wearing a pad and you are have had to change it more than 4 times since yesterday as it has been filled with blood and clots then I would get yourself to the hospital.

I was in bed on a Sat night and woke up at about 1am as my pj bottoms were soaked so I went to the toilet and they were sopping in blood, when I wiped I had clots and I was still bleeding, I was 12w on that day. I went into A&E that night and got seen on the Sunday morn as they admitted me onto the Gyna ward where we waited for a Sonographer to come in so I could have a scan. If you are still bleeding now and you go in they will give you and internal to check if you Cervixs is open or closed. The Gyane said she thought mine was open but couldn't really tell because of all the blood and clots (sorry for tmi) so reffered me for a scan. Baby was fine and I am now 17w. You might have a Hematoma in your womb which would count for the blood loss. Are you still lossing now or has it turned brown?

Its not a lot only wen I wipe I had 1 pad on since last night. But my worry is the colour is like a fresh cut.

Go to hospital. Red fresh blood is not a good sign, for me it meant I had a misscarriage

But I do know that some women like my sister had a big bleed and now he is 4 months old

Call your maternity unit.. mine is open 24/7.. or make your way to hospital A+E. Better to be safe than sorry and for peace of mind. Good Luck xx

I had this when I mc last time. Its da weekend they will just send me home till monday. Its only a few hrs away so just resting and waiting.

Oh bless you, if you go to A&E they must be able to refer you quicker that was and now your 16weeks I'm sure they would take u in now your further along, give them a call to see what they say x

spoke to a doctor at croydoc and he said as long as i am not bleeding heavy i have to go to epu tomorrow.

My friend's colleague started bleeding heavily at work and was rushed to hospital. They found the baby still alive and in place. She was ordered to have bed rest for 2 weeks. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you. Good luck tomorrow. xxx

Hi all thanks for all your support. Was at EPU from 9 this morning and did not leave there till 1. Anyway baby is ok, and my cervix is closed. They don't know where the bleed is coming from but told to rest. How can I with a 4 year old and being a full time student.

I will do my best to. The guys at uni are lovely they are trying to step me off the course till baby is born. So that would help a lot. And once again thank you all fr ur support.
