Couldn't resist posting this photo. The wood is 2 miles from home. Isn't nature fabulous? Pouring here in S East and much needed.

Stunning photograph. The epitome of a British woodland in spring! Thank you for sharing.
Used to pick them as a child in the Fens!
I used to pick them as a child too! There is no greater floral spectacle in my own personal view and the scent is something you never forget!

That's quite lovely diana1998 and I'm sure the bluebells have been thirsty and will appreciate our rain of today. It may keep them blooming a little longer for us. I must say I'm delighted to see how many areas still have bluebell woods though. Very encouraging! ππ
Yes, there are loads π
Yes, they give so much pleasure π
This reminds me of the bluebell woods on the Chiltern - between Oxford and Reading....but we also have bluebells in the Cotswolds!
Oh wow Diana, that's beautiful π
Who doesn't like a bluebell wood? Lovely photo, it takes me back to my childhood. I remember that smell so well. Thanks.
