I started using crystals a few months ago. I tend to carry them around in my pocket to help with anxiety and some health problems. I haven't tried using any for sleep though. I read a good article on crystals for sleep not long ago. I will try and find it later when I'm on my laptop and will send you the link.
Hi Rachel
I was thinking about a crystal to carry around, I do like the rose quartz.
I have only just started looking at them, so not sure.
What crystals do you carry around?
Thanks so much for your reply
Junie
I mostly carry around fluorite, peridot and amethyst crystals. I also sometimes wear citrine and carnelian bracelets. My favourite crystal is iron pyrite but it's too big to carry around. I bought my crystals from this website crystals-online.co.uk.
I would recommend the book Crystals for Beginners by Karen Frazier. It explains a lot on how people use them and lists the properties of different crystals.
Hi Rachel
Thanks for the info,
Will look up the website, oh bracelet sounds good
Thanks again
Junie
Hi Junie, here is the link for information on using crystals to help with sleep: ethanlazzerini.com/crystals...
My great grandson who is 6 was brought a crystal by the tooth fairy! Perhaps his mum thought it would calm him. I have a rose quartz in my bedside drawer x
Hi Hylda
Yes I like the rose quartz, when the shops open I will get one.
Thanks for your reply

Hi Junie2, I don't use crystals in the way they are often used but I do find they are wonderful to own and I have a few which I love to hold and examine. One is a lovely piece of rose crystal carved into the shape of a smooth and tactile heart.
To be honest I did once investigate the spiritual use of crystals with chakras of the body, but for me it wasn't something I could really engage in.
There are many books out there which can explain their use to those who feel they would help and even lots written which can be found for free online. I'd only warn against finding sites online which suggest paying for 'experts' to help you understand or use them.
Hi Callendersgal
I don’t think I can get into the spiritual side of it.
I just like them, the rose quartz seems to be the calming one , which I need at the moment.
Your rose crystal heart sounds amazing.
Will try and find a picture online.
Would love to know the others you have.
Thanks so much
Junie
I'm not even 100% sure of what all of my crystals are Junie2, because I received a small bag of them as a 'favour' at a wedding I attended, so those I keep in their little bag and just admire them every so often.
I have a piece of slightly chipped clear quartz which is very dear to me as it was given to me by the daughter of an old work colleague after she had battled with an enormous cancerous growth on her spine and made it through. I think of that miracle every time I see it!
Then I have a Tiger's Eye, a Citrine and a chunk of Amethyst which I literally picked up off the ground during a visit to India in an area where it was readily to be found and some Jasper, which I also love for its smooth look and deep colour when it is polished. 🌈
They sound amazing, all have a story to tell
I’m so happy your friend got through a dreadful time. She sounds a strong woman.
Junie
I have several crystals (including ones I don't know the names of now as I've forgotten what I was told when I bought them). I like clear quartz crystals, also selenite which is beautiful to touch but you must never cleanse them with water. I also like the carnelian and red jasper. One that is really pretty is the blue lace agate - I have a pair of earrings and a pendant and they are so pretty. Good luck in your search. x
