I think it helps to understand this on a deeper level if it has ever happens to you. Some time ago I lost three of my teeth in an accident and for six whole weeks had to appear in public without an embarrassing gap, whilst waiting for healing to occur, so that a bridge could be made for me. I could not believe the judgments I got. People assumed I was down and out. Even once by a nurse at the hospital where I went for weekly treatment to my gums. It was unconscious bias maybe, but judgment based on bias all the same. Immediately my bridge was fitted, I was once again treated with respect. It taught me, at the deepest level, not to judge! So thank you for this namaha. It's a reminder never to slip back into that behaviour.
People are so quick to judge ☹️
Very good. “Judgements stop us seeing the good that lies beyond appearance” thanks for posting this 🙂
Thank you so much for posting this.
How often are other people critical ,hostile and annoyed with folk who have hidden disabilities or who are homeless, or judging a parent in a supermarket with a child having a meltdown, the list is endless.
Let's be kinder...
