It's a toss up btwn these below:

Chanel mademoiselle

Ralph Lauren's Romance

Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue

Dior J'adore

These scents are classics and lighter on my sensetive nose.

That’s wonderful to hear. I can’t use too many types of perfumes because they give off very strong scents.😀👍🌈

Mojave Ghost by Byredo

Once upon a time. I favored patchouli, and musk.. oils.. anymore.. A clean fresh body is my proffered choice.

Love Patchouli. Brings back memories of my Haight-Ashbury days. 😌

I was at my doctors. Somehow I mentioned Haight-Ashbury. He didn’t know anything about about it. It was fun educating him.😁

in reply toIsinatra

WHAT? Where was he in the 60's? On the moon or in the womb?

Isinatra profile image
Isinatra in reply to

I guess because of his gray hair he is at least 55, so the womb theory is out. He’s smart book wise, but lacks in world knowledge. My perception of him has changed since then😁I couldn’t believe it either. 😂

in reply toIsinatra

Ah, I guess we should look kindly and have pitty on the less fortunate that didn't get the full 60's experience..

Yes. Such a shame for him, too. It’s one of my fondest memories.❤️🏄‍♀️

So glad you said that (and thanks for the thread, you've given me my first chuckles of the day). Multiple chemical sensitivity means perfumes/fragrances are out and I can't even get near people to talk to sometimes. Kissing aftershave makes my lips burst/split. Fortunately I can still enjoy most of the flowers that I have loved for a lifetime - philadelphus, lavender, thyme, proper English bluebells, honeysuckle, rugosa roses.....but in the outdoors, not on me.

I ‘d like to add my specific favorite:White Shoulder

My ex-Mother-in-law gave me 2 ounces of the perfume and that was in a different lifetime for me. I cherished that perfume & kept it on the vanity . Well, our son, who was almost 4 at the time, thought that our dog, Seth, needed to smell pretty! Yup, MY PERFUME!!!! Didn’t leave me even a drop! Oh, but Seth smelled wonderfully for a very long time!

in reply toMidnight-Blue

White Shoulder.. Nice. As I recall that is/was one spendy item. But worth it. A little gos a long way.

Paloma Picasso body cream with a light spritz of Beautiful. I like the original Christian Dior because my mother wore it. I keep a small vial of it for remembrance. Shalimar bath beads...absolute heaven.❤️🏄‍♀️

DKNY woman the origanol subtle fragrance. Only to be adored close up.

Great poll Leah. Myfavourite is Nina Ricci's L'Air du Temps. I started wearing it when I first lived in Hong Kong, and just a small whiff of it in the air reminds me of some very happy days!

No perfume nowadays, it just bothers me. Shower smellies only. I used to wear Givenchy 111 but can't bear it now. Have never liked perfumed man. Clean man, own skin smell not blocked by only the faintest 'traditional' cologne.

After all the perfumes I wore, the one I got most compliments on was Obsession for men. Women absolutely loved it and it was quite a conversation starter. I wore it to remind me of an ex boyfriend I was still crazy about. Men never remarked about it. I quit wearing it as soon as I figured that out. 😉

Some do when you first walk into a store for a mall and/or make up/cosmetics counter area. I have to be careful when going to see what they have at first.
