2 hours 22 mins . Based on Stephen King novel.

Activity2004 profile image
Activity2004 in reply tofocused1

That's one of the Stephen King books I haven't read, yet. Is the movie the same as the book version? :-) I know that when I was done reading Under the Dome, I saw the 3 seasons of the show version and the book ending is completely different from each other. Liked the book's ending a lot better. :-)

Think it was broadly based on SK novel but this is so good with loads of twists.

The book was even better. If I remember correctly it was called Rita Hayworth and was a lengthy short story. Bx

Forrest Gump and The Wizard of Oz are my favorites because with Forrest Gump, no matter what you do or try, it shows anyone can do anything they put their mind to doing. With The Wizard of Oz, it shows how people work together and can be friends while working on how to solve some problems. :-)

I've seen A Christmas Carol and Groundhog Day, but I can't remember if I had seen Galaxy Quest. Who was in that one? :-)

G1llHa1n profile image

Galaxy Quest is a 1999 American science fiction comedy film directed by Dean Parisot and written by David Howard and Robert Gordon. ... Galaxy Quest eventually achieved cult status, especially from Star Trek fans for its affectionate parody, but also from more mainstream audiences as a comedy film in its own right.
