Pergola
What is pergola? I don't think we have that out here. Can you please explain it to me?
A pergola is a structure usually made of wood, built over a seating area sometimes or over a path as an arch. You can grow climbing plants that will grow to cover it.
Made loads of face coverings. 85 of them for the carers in the carehome my husband resides. And loads more for friends and family.
Made homemade candles
I picked Other because I do knitted Snoods and a few other knitted items every few days during the week and on Sunday afternoons depending on timing and my schedule.
I have been painting a miniature painting and wood slices animal painting. I have made a wreath for Christmas.

Activity2004 Hermes123. None of the above! Crafts develop by myself one craft I develop myself about six years ago is called Art in Nutshell, coconut shells to be precise it took me a long time experimenting to get it right preparing the shell, then to get the perspective, luckily I had done photography for quiet a few years. My next project was wire art pictures, again another method of my own very neat and tidy method but lots of work, I love pushing boundary's. Hermes.
Sorting andtossing35mm color slides. Putting saved slides onto flash drive.
This sounds great! How long does it take to get it done? 😀👍🌈
I taught college geography for 53 years and had more than 10,000 slides, 70% for classroom usage. I go in spurts - May a couple of hours once or twice per day. It is hard to through beautiful landform scenes, but I cannot keep everything forever!

I am remodeling one of my bathrooms. New corner shower, stone vanity top, cabinet doors, cabinet drawers, lighted switches, new mirror and flooring.

I did my training as an Occupational Therapist back in the very early 1970's, we did a lot of crafts, partly to occupy the patient's time (spent a lot longer in then), but also as hidden exercise. We had to do visits to jobs to see what a person needed to be capable of, to be re trained, I spent time at the Otis Lift company , my local bakers, Aston Martin watching panel beating and many more. As to crafts I can set up a weaving loom and weave a skirt length, pottery if required, macramé, soft toy making, enamelling for jewellery, drawn thread work, stool seating and so on. We had to do an activity analysis on every one of these, so you knew which muscles and nerves were required, how much strength and what mental abilities were needed. In actual fact, the best quick assessment of someone's abilities, is to get them to make a cup of tea. I do not find these activities particularly restful, as spend my time noticing what bits of me I am using, instead of enjoying them. My old head of college (she was old) was most put out that none of us wanted to learn how to spin, before we went on to weaving, she used to collect her Old English Sheep dogs fur and spin it. It was only when I went on a placement, learning about equipment, wheelchairs and property adaptations that I knew I would enjoy the job.
Knit baby blankets and winter accessories for winter for charity. Very satisfying for me.
Sewn fabric face masks, knitted doll cardigans, made Christmas cards and handmade journals... oh and made a miniature teddy bear
Oh and made some cakes, and painted a Tudor rose on a canvas ready for our next local craft club exhibition... whenever that might happen (I’m guessing it probably won’t be until next year)
Can it be done on video/virtual?😀👍🌈
This is really great to hear. Does the bear have a sweater?😀👍🌈
My most recent one was a Secret Santa gift for someone allergic to wool but the Christmas before I made one with a jumper, I’ll have to see if I can find a photo x
ive done embroidery , & got various colouring books for adults
That’s great to hear. When do you do the coloring books for adults?😀👍🌈
whenever i feel like it really Mu bought me some toy skittles & some marbles & playing them down the hallway
I guess full lockdown makes yu regress into a childlike state & take up activities you did as a child & taking up activites you would never do i normal circumstances
Hair barrettes for my granddaughter! They can be so expensive if you purchase them
Do you put bows on them?😀👍🌈
I use ribbons to make the bows. My daughter bought a bow online and it was $12. When I made mine it didn't come out exactly the same but still looked so cute! I don't know how to post pics on here or I would have.

Just those small plastic beads kids make pictures out of, then iron them together. I’ve made the pictures but do not know how best to iron the plastic beads so that they melt together. Does anybody know?
Do you mean perl beads? You can use an iron to put everything together.😀👍🌈
The container says PYSSLA, my neighbor moved & parted with them but they didn't come with any instructions.
At this point about 50 blankets. Also have a knitting machine and make hats. It is my greatest pleasure. Thanks for asking.
I learned how to make no kneed bread. I baked around 250 loafs of bread for friends, neighbors, doctor's offices. My Oncologist loves my cinnamon raisin bread!
We all have our thing. Sounds delicious.
Still enjoying knitting the hats for the Innocent Smoothie bottles.

My pom pom lampshade for when my granddaughter stays x
What a brilliant idea!! Thank you!
Hi Activity2004 - I’ve done a lot of family research in the past and wanted to be able to write up a family tree using calligraphy rather than my own scruffy writing. I’m still practicing so I haven’t started on the tree yet and it’s stalled for the minute due to pain in my right thumb! Hey ho, there’s always something but I’m hoping to get back to it very soon. Have you been doing anything new?
Knitting is wonderful therapy to keep your finger joints moving, I just love knitting for my Grandson, every stitch is knitted with love. When he wears the jumpers he is enveloped in love 🥰 and hugs 🤗 from Gran. I haven’t seen him since last year and when I get up each morning I think I’m one day nearer to delivering my hug in person whenever that may be!!!
I am making curtains, pillows and chair cushion cover. Next is outside cushion covers
Jewellery making. Card craft. Tapestry.making my own clothes years ago of course. Now painting because my hands don’t work properly any more and I really enjoy painting and making a mess😀
