meerkat
Adore watching silly penguins. Also, meerkats, grab my heartstrings AND my funny bone.
beauty ,strength ,confidence ,and power ,pure and sure of what it is ,a LION
Tutrtle
Elephants & giraffes beyond anything. I haven't been to a zoo for many years, although I watch on TV & nature progs. Even in the best, the amount of space allowed does worry me...
Rhino.
Iβm sorry to say it , but zoos no longer have a place.
I agree but if you went to Jersey Zoo its emphasis is conservation . Sadly we hunt and ruin habitat . I feel we owe it to rare species to keep numbers up . We caused their fate initially and only we can resolve this .
Lion
Thatβs fantastic! Do you like a certain type?πππ
I have a geology grad student who, by their own admission, is as clumsy as a penguin. We decided mutually on a nickname: Rockhopper.. . . .
Wildebeest
Which ones?πππ
Iβve just liked them as they are so ugly...I remember as a child seeing a Giles cartoon book which had some with new babies...something about the new gnus not having the same attraction as baby pandas...have to see if tβinterweb can do itβs thing and find it...

HiIt won't play, there isn't any white writing at the top
I love the Tiger n the lions too!
The baby monkeys are very cute.πππ
Hi I love baby monkeys, baby sloths and baby orangutans xxxxππ§ππβ€οΈπ
Thank you for letting us know, Lynne. The babies are my favorites for certain animals, too.πππ
They are just sooo adorable don't they? Xxxxβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ
Yes, I think they definitely are adorable.
I voted Elephant & Giraffe comes a close second.
I love all animals but when I used to take my grandson to the zoo, the goats were so responsive and grntle when he stroked them.
How tiny are they by the zoo you were going to?πππ
I get that. I miss seeing the animals and having my Nephew and Niece see them, too each Summer. Couldnβt do it this past Summer.βΉοΈ
I would have to pick the monkeys, they are entertaining.
I have my Niece here during the day each week so we can teach her( homeschool) until she gets to go back to her school. Her brother takes classes on the computer for his school.
Itβs sometimes not easy, but she comes to the computer room each morning when she comes to the house. We may have a snow day on Thursday this week, but weβll see what happens. She is a very helpful cook.πππ
She does a great gluten free Ziti and desserts for me. My mom is teaching her what to do.πππ
Want to say all the above & more... Really miss going to my local zoo during all this.ππ¦πΊπ¦π―ππ¦π¦π¦¬πππππͺπ¦ππ¦π»π¦¦π¦π¦ π¦©π¦π¦π’π
I prefer to see animals in the wild, not imprisoned. πͺ
Humans
Warthog
Panther
All of them, but would only choose a wild life park to see them
Love Elephants & Gorillas, both my favourites π¦π
Babies or the parents?
Well all baby animals are cute, but, I think the adults are amazing, the elephants all rally to look after the baby ones & keep them all safe, love the adult silverback gorillas, they are so big but so gentle, unless in aggressive mode, then look out! But the adults win I think in my estimation of them, so caring , beautiful souls π¦π
Of course none of them should be in a zoo!
I do not like Zoo's. All living things belong in the wild.
Tiger
Both, I think their so cute there adorable π
Hermes123 Lemma, the Zebra of the trees. Hermes
Monkeys, especially the Marmoset monkey's. They are one of the most interesting, intelligent , and beautiful animals GOD created. They also are closest to the human race .
Different cheeses and tomato sauce.
With my avatar it has to be a Hippo, even a Hippy Hippo.
HiThere was something on TV the other night. Someone was trying to play a joke on a orangutan , j wasn't keen on them playing a joke but the orangutan had the last laugh because he/she just absolutely roared laughing, it was amazing πππ€πππ€xxxx
What show were you watching?
Elephants have always had a special place in my heart. There is this orphan baby elephant sanctuary I want to visit in Kenya one day, God willingly.
I always have mixed emotions when visiting a zoo . I like that zoos provide an opportunity to see animals that otherwise I wouldnt see but I dislike that they're not in their natural habitat and free.
Myself! now seemingly in permanent semi isolation, had my 2jabs, but now lack of PIP, I cannot afford to go ANYWHERE, just like being in a zoo! πππ€π₯±
Yes, isolation is not always easy for anyone, but itβs to help us stay safe, happy and healthy as much as possible until COVID is controlled or permanently gone for good.
No, I have had my 2jabs, I am medically if I could, able to travel outside, but living at such a bare financial minimum, my PIP benefit by "all those who after us allπ" altering their own goalposts, I was able to "surviveπ€ͺ" just because I could not go out, but in February my PIP was cut, so essentially now I am in my own "Zoo", living by myself [with claustrophobia!], actually now my health has now worsened to such an extent, my GP agreed I should now be getting it, but it will mean I will have to start a NEW application for it no matter what happens! [Earliest 9 months?] I never liked Zoo's, never agreed poor animals being caged up, but now I am surviving in one cage, at present first hand, never mind COVID! [from March 2020 to March 2022???]Just?π₯΄π΅πππ€¬
I understand completely what you mean. It sometimes feels like that here in my house because I have to be extremely careful with where I can go. Having pre-existing conditions means hopefully no one I see in person will still have to get both doses done. You can always talk to me anytime.
I see the misunderstanding, PIP is a sickness benefit [not available in USA] I cannot afford even to go out ANYWHERE, okay in these COVID times it does not help, but nobody can visit me at these times. I am living in Northern Ireland, I had the PIP benefit until Feb. 2021, when they in their wisdom, stopped giving me it, I am in isolation, registered disabled, although had my 2 jabs 27th April. [first 9th Feb. I was in the 2nd phase of injections, the extremely vulnerable] So I am worse off financially and now physically [due to effects on my health actually being in isolation] than when I was when I first started isolation in March 2020! Having claustrophobia as being one of my numerous medical conditions, I, like the beings in a Zoo would REALLY prefer being outside my cage/home!π₯΄
