My family on my Mothers' side have a history of anxiety related illnesses.
- My Mum has bi-polar and although she will say she didn't hve PNI, I believe that she had it but was too scared to own up to how she was feeling inside, so it fested and grew. I believe this because my Mum's bi-polar became apparent when I was a toddler. I don't believe she had it with my older Brother though.
- My Auntie had PNI
- My other Auntie had PP - She was put in an old style mental institution in the 70's, which wasn't a nice place at all for her.
So yes, I do think those factors played a part in me getting it, but not in a litreal sense... Meaning I didn't give those things a second thought during my pregnancy.
