What timers do people use for medication to be on time
I have a medicine box with a timer as I take meds every 2 1/2 hours. It beeps at 10 mins before and at 5 mins before your scheduled time (to remind you) and then at the scheduled time it beeps until you turn it off
Have a look on trademe under pill box or medicine timer
I would be lost without mine.
If you have a smart phone with calender linked to an email program (Outlook) you can set reminders in that, can include text saying exactly what needs to be taken.
or google 'app for taking medication' as another option.
I just use my mobile alarm, but you have to make sure you reset it to easy to forget. Or blister packs are suppose to be good
my husband uses his mobile ph, he has to take medication 6x times daily, have loaded his ph with the times and an alarm goes off to remind him, it works really well.
My mother takes her medication every two hours and was having issues remembering so we found a cellphone with a multi alarm function. We set the multi alarms to beep every two hours from her first tablet at 7am thru till 9pm her last tablet before going to bed. It worked extremely well and you only have to remember to charge the cell phone regularly. Mum was able to relax about remembering to take her tablets because the alarm was doing the job for her. Good luck
