Hi. Can anyone tell me how often you need to take Thiamin. I understand it is 4grams a day but is that one dose?

Dear JeanieBeanie,

It would be advisable that the thiamine protocol that Dr Costantini devised is tested by each patient after at least a direct email communication with us. Best would be an in-person check up but in case this is unfeasible at least please email Dr Costantini (carapetata@libero.it) with a description of your status and data about yourself (age, weight, height, other conditions, time of insurgence of PD, status of the disease, severity of motor and non-motor symptoms, etc)

The dose usually differs and usually one patient reaches it gradually so it would ideal if we could follow you to the best of our possibilities.

Thank you

Best regards

-Marco

Thank you. The problem we had was we were going abroad and could not do the video etc so tried it as others were using it. We will have to find someone who can video us and try it again later. My husband is much more dependant on me. He has had PD at least 25 years.
