How often do you restrict/change your diet to avoid chronic pancreatic symptoms (such as abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea, etc.)?

The only meat I eat is baked boneless chicken breast. I do not eat eggs, butter, or any oils. My pancreas can’t digest raw veggies so they must be cooked. I drink water, coffee, and flat coke. My B12 was so low, I had to give my self weekly injections for four months.

It's hard to know what to change at any given time. I can eat some things fine one day, and the next time I eat it, it makes me sick. I just try to eat SOMETHING to keep my weight up. Most of the time, nothing sounds good, but it's hard to tell if the pain is from an empty stomach or the pancreatitis. On bad days it's Ritz crackers and tea.

I did have what the hospital diagnosed as pancreatitis, in 2018, whereby I could not hold down basic food for a week, I brought up blood, and little bits of what I presume was parts of my pancreas? I had not had any alcohol for at least 3 years, so there is still room for discussion and debate on that. March 2020 I was diagnosed as having diabetes 2, with metformin 1000mg a day as a result, since then and in pandemic surroundings I have formed my own diet, blood/eye checks since then have shown that my diabetes diet has been very successful, still on medication for that, I still believe there are more complicated reasons for my pancreatitis episode, as there are other medical conditions especially the Schwannomatosis NF3 which is very rare so not really aware of it's full implications? True I have "abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea etc", but is this due to effects of diabetes 2 or pancreatitis is still up for debate?

I've given up meat and dairy and my only fat source is mct oil and fish.

Please forgive me for replying to this poll, I am the x1 "Never" but I'm currently still trying to get a diagnosis from the GP

I do wonder if occasional fasting in the morning to give the system a rest might be a good idea?
