I have cervical stenosis. Am 61 and have had it for years. Yes, I have wicked pain that travels up my neck to the back of my head. Now I have occipital neuralgia and cervical dystonia as well. Be glad you don't have all three. Muscle rub, heating pad and Advil or Tylenol are your best friends now. There is no comfortable position for me to lay my head down. Good luck and God bless from MA, USA! BTW, I also get Botox in my neck. It helps!

What helps me is gentle massage all over head and neck , then breathing slowly in and out and try relaxing by focusing on the breathing, because I get terrible headaches and my ears have constant hissing, also learn to move your facial muscles, (there are so many) best Alex
