What concerns you most about Paget's disease?

My Paget's is in my pelvis, and I currently experience lower back and hip pain. My concern is the impact on neighbouring bones/joints and possible future problems.

Paget's is in my rt. pelvis. While we know it is in the entire pelvis, it was only "active" in about 30% of my pelvis...mainly near the hip joint. MRI discovered the entire pelvis. Active = sclerotic changes seen on xray. As a 40 yr old male with an active lifestyle, I am concerned about future hip replacement and the other serious manifestations.

I am not unduly concerned having had it for so many years and having six-monthly/annual checkups gives assurance.
