Has anyone had a recurrence after stage 1A high grade serous ?

What were your symptoms ?

I’m getting very worried 😟 I think I might be but not sure if I’m just being paranoid .

Hi, Im sorry to hear that you've still got concerns... I remember you posting a little while ago and think you were going to speak with your GP...? How did that go?

I would really encourage you to ring your CNS.... I was always told to if I had any concerns in between follow-up appointments to do this. On one occasion a couple of years ago, I felt I had cause and it was really worthwhile as although scary, I knew we had a definite plan. As she has so much experience of OvCa, she went through exactly what was concerning and would have referred me back in to see the consultant if needed.

Do you have a CNS that you can call? Sx

I have been to GP twice now and started on medication for gastric issues which hasn’t changed anything so I went again on Thursday to Gp and they have contacted oncology and I have spoken to CNS nurse this morning .

Waiting for news of appointment and MRI ☹️

Fingers crossed x

Its good that your team are now involved. I will be thinking of you and hoping you get reassurance very soon... Completely understand how frightening the wait is. Try to hold on as the most likely result will be that this is not related to OvCa but that if by chance it is, then knowing will give the very best options for treatment.

Wishing you hope & strength, Sxxxx

You need the peace of mind, you have done the right thing. There are many things it could be, since I had my surgery 16 months ago my insides have never felt right, but I am ok. Hope you get the result soon, I am sure all will be well. xx

Sorry to hear you are worried. Keep chasing you Drs if you want to find out things sooner rather than later.

I understand this is a scary time for you. Try not to worry too much before you have had your scans it might be something else that is not related or a side effect.

Did your GP do a ca125 test? This is very important and if they have not done one, you should ask for one.

I hope you get the results soon so you can have a peaceful Christmas.

Love Nicky xx
