I've read that an infection can lead to a raising in CA125 levels. Have you got a CNS you can contact got more info? They are usually a mine of info

All the best

Hi there

So sorry they you have this concern.

I had a huge , 20cm , abdominal mass with a ca 125 of 69 . It then fell to 48 when an infection I had was treated. It transpired that it was a borderline tumour , a not yet invasive form of ovarian cancer.

Good luck xxxx

Dear Katmal

It does look hopeful that the CA125 is going down. Let's hope you get better answers to your questions next week when you have your scan. CA125 is affected by a number of things.

I'll be thinking of you next Friday and will be hoping the results are good.

Try to give yourself a real treat this week.

xx Annie

Thanks for all the replies. Still hanging on to my sanity, just..... Feeling very vunerable at the moment. Physically fine, mentally very fragile, The waiting is worse than the not know, if you get what I mean. Hospital have moved my scan date back to 10th July as It';s not an emergency (it feels like it is to me but I get what they mean).

Struggling on ......
