Hello & Welcome to February!

I don't know about everyone else, but last month seemed to last forever!

To link in with the webinar available this month, justonenorfolk.nhs.uk/webin... (Happening this Wednesday.)

I thought it would be a nice idea to share any top tips for promoting the development of early communication with our little ones.

As parents, we will already be doing so many things to help our little ones learn communication, it will be second nature and we won't even be aware we are doing it!

How many of us are playing multiple games of "peek a boo" everyday, or remember a time we did?!

I will add a link to some ideas on Just One Norfolk, but let's share favourite little games or songs we share with our little ones and their reactions...

Wind the bobbin up was a favourite when mine were small. Or actually, anything with actions was really good as they started off copying the moves and the words that matched soon followed.

Hi, 100% last month seemed so long and grey. I’m so pleased to be in February. I can’t believe its going to be half term soon though.

The webinars sound really good. I’ve set up to follow the Norfolk early childhood and family service on eventbrite to get notifications of all new ones to keep an eye on any new ones listed 😊.

Hi,

I agree, although the days went quickly, the month itself appeared to drag.

My nephew who has just turned 1 absolutely loves wiggling. He recently learnt how to do it. He looks over at me and when I say 'wiggle', he shakes his little torso and smiles. He finds it hilarious.
