Had h pylori last sept

Gone now scope confirm

Left gastrits

No ulcer no erosions

Ppi was given

I’m worse on the ppi ?

Any reason why

I’m doubled up burning belly nausea

Am on a clean bland diet frequent small meals

But no qual of life now at all

Broken sleep and ear hiss ent issues with it

I was on diff ppi the Gp had tryed me on plus h2 blockers

Can ppi worsen ?

I understand also may be it just needed the clean diet

I feel the ppi gas 100 times made it worse and I’ll never heal niw

Tummy clearly inflamed still as burning raw itchy feeling inner side

Above belly button below ab breast bone

I know ppi lowers acid to assist in heal

But it’s some time niw

And I’m 200% worse

Any one else have this or was ppi a bit drastic to put me on

If only I’d known

No hernias etc bloods all normal

Niw worse

Loosing weight still

If I withdraw ppi the rebound I’ll get

No one tested fir liw or high acid

But late now as ppi meds took

It’s horrific

It di I come off and try to heal this naturally foids etc

I’m in a great deal discomfort

Try slippery elm or marshmallow root teas and take deglycerated liquerice before meals. Can get these online or Holland and Barrett. Keep off most alcohol including wine, chocolate, raw onions, anything with tomato in (sauces etc), acidic fruits, strong coffee, fruit juices, fatty food and carbonated drinks including fizzy water. Give it a couple of weeks then re-evaluate. Also take a multivitamin or especially b12 which ppis can deplete. If you do reduce then lower the dosage slowly or take one every other day, don’t just stop taking them.

Thanks To late I stopped and have rebound the meds I was doubled up on the floor and a and e 4 times

I don’t have fizzy drinks etc or smoke or alcohol

My diet is bland to try heal

Also b12 lie last year from h pylori stole my vits

Goid news is

Intrinsic neg

P cell neg

C disease neg

So looks like I can absorb still

B12 still remains high from b12 shots

I get tested every 2 to 3 months

So trying to heal now through foid

But right now horrific neuro issues from rebound especially ear hissing
