Under the new rules for organ donation, you have to opt out if you don`t want to donate organs.

My question is having had oesophageal cancer I have been told we can not donate blood. So what about organ donation are we in the not suitable group.

I'm not sure but it makes sense that we wouldn't be eligible. If the situation arose the medics would do a thorough review of your notes and history anyway. I'm in Wales and we already have an automatic opt in.
