I nearly had op for reflux which was cancelled, surgeon thought my symptoms not severe enoughdly believe it myselfApart from this I had suffered for years with intermittent, sometimes weeks apart, pains in chest/back extending to my ear! Doctors gave up on it. A year ago, pain coming on, I sipped a glass of water, small sips continuously. The pain went away! Since then I travel nowhere without water and always at first sign of pain I sip the water.

Is this a mind over matter thing! I am an old woman and very practical not prone to airy fairy ideas but do feel I must pass it on just in case .........

I’ll try that. Can I just ask you how long you had reflux for? I’m 40 and I had it for over 2 years now!

Do you use any medication for it as well as water?
