My ex use to have that problem and I thought it was his poor dental habits but the dentist didn’t agree with me on this so the problem was never addressed. The only thing I can suggest is keeping your mouth moist. Avoid things like listerine and mouth wash that is drying. Chewing on parsley which is a natural breath freshener. I suffer from dry mouth and GERD. These are just a few tips but I feel you have something more going on. When was your last endoscopy? Do you have gastroperesis (slow emptying of the stomach)? Is this bad smell all the time? Or just at certain times? Do you have by any chance been told that you have bile in your stomach? Have you tried antacids chewing 3or 4 and did it help with the smell?

hello Sarahvit thank you for your time. i really appreciate it. i never had an endoscopy before, i don't know which doctor to go to, is it still ENT doctors? because that's the doctor i am seeing right now. Yes the bad smell is present always from day in and day out, and I don't know about gastroparesis i look it up in google i don't think that is it, because i do get hungry near meals time, im not sure as well about bile reflux. i think my doctor does not know it either, because i am still in observation phase, and its been three meetings in two months already. all he did was examine my mouth, my nose airways and ask me about i what feel and gave drugs prescription. "clarithromycin, esomeprazole, levocetrizine, mometasone furoate" i took this for a week nothing changes. in our second meeting same examination my mouth and my nose and gave another prescription esomeprazole and gaviscon and still no changes and now third meeting same as before but he told me to take an x-ray, but i haven't yet, i haven't had a free a time because i have a low paying job that requires me to be on the job.

that's all i can tell you i'm not even sure what it is anymore.

and by the way i hope your ex is better now because it is really frustrating to have this kind of disease, it can really destroy you in a lot of ways.

thank you and keep safe.

I get this sometimes in the mouth but never the nose and its usually veg that cause it.

But with me its one of the problems we have when part of our stomach is removed.

The only product that gets rid of the smell from the mouth is Pepto Bismol that you can get from any Pharmacy. Its not a cure but it could help and its worth a try.

You are welcome.🙏 I believe you need to see a gastroenterologist. He can do the endoscopy to see if there is anything going on down in your esophagus, stomach and upper intestines and take biopsies to see if there is anything going on with the tissues.

I feel your frustration I’m sorry that you are not getting any answers on this problem. Sounds like you need to see the gastroenterologist rather than an ENT doctor. I feel that your problem is coming from the GI track. Wait what are you supposed to get the X-ray of?

My ex is deceased. He died a little over a year ago from complications of his diabetes. He really never took care of it like he should. He had just turned 53.

Anyway I hope you are able to get to the bottom of this bad smell problem. 😊💕🦋
