Mine's kind of the opposite, I always feel the need to get rid of stuff when I'm going through a wave of anxiety and thoughts.

Really? Funny how OCD works isn't it.

Yeah it's crazy, it's like it's telling me that "maybe if I throw this away, the OCD will go away." But in the back of my mind I know that's not true.

OCD takes so many forms and excessive tidiness and hoarding are both manifestations. I suppose it must feel like you're throwing away your OCD.

Do I have a hoarding problem? Do I have a house full of clutter and junk? Not half! It partly down to having so little storage space, bookshelves, cupboards etc but I do need to get rid of things as well. I have become more strict with myself about keeping things, but it isn't easy!

I keep absolutely everything I'm given and so worried about throwing them out I keep stuff like notes off my grandmother and pictures drawn by my siblings ~ Riley
