hi harryhonda. I had a look at earlier posts of yours.
I mentioned then that insoles that might help the feet but I don’t think I talked about the supplements I take. Bought from a reputable seller of supplements (you can’t always believe the adverts, I’ve been buying from this company for many years), I get glucosamine with chondroitin. My toe joints have fused together so aren’t as painful as they used to be, though I now walk more like a pregnant duck because of this fusion.
Another possibility, as you mentioned pain in sides and bottom of feet, is plantar fasciitis. Look it up on NHS website. But, high Uric Acid normally means gout I believe so I can’t comment further on that.
Hi Harryhonda, I also went to the GP around 5 years ago with my feet and the pains I have in my toes I was advised I had high Uric acid levels and was placed on Allopurinol low dose but was advised I couldn't start it for at least a week as I had to take an anti inflammatory medication band get rid of the flare. Allopurinol doesn't stop a flare and if in pain you need to stop it and take an anti inflammatory the one they gave me began with a c not sure if I'm saying it correct colchine (something like that)
I since been told I have still got high uric acids levelsand recently had the dose increased twice im still getting small flares but the anti inflammatoryd defiently works for a short period of time. Then return to the allopurinol. I also don't get red, hot, or swellings around the affected area.
I have now been diagnosed with osteoarthritis too and have spoken with orthopedics and rheumatology regarding my issues that state this is the case some people don't always show symptoms even though experiencing them hope this helps you
