First thing the doctor did after I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease was to take me off Celexicob (Celebrex).

Thank you for sharing lowraind. Celebrex has been known to cause decreased kidney function. Although some experts state there are some instances the medication can be reversed, if the medication is stopped, many doctors do not want to take that chance. Usually if you are taking NSAIDS, such as Celebrex, you will find they routinely check your kidney function ensuring you are not developing any problems.
