swelling can hurt the toes , as can inflammation in that joint, as can gout, and many other things. But it does sound like you need your meds to kick in and continue talking to the rheum or the helpline.

My Rheumy sent me to their podiatrist who gave me splints for inside my shoes, which actually do help.

The physio also told me my shoes were wrong thus causing pain in big toe joint. I would ask your Rheumy to refer you to these other team members.

Hope this week goes better for you. It's been a strain for you x

Allanah thank you for the message I am actually 56 and I do know the song ha ha I don't think they would dare cancel again Hun I don't see a rheumy nurse never have just always see the gp,when I can get in

Hiya Deejojo. Sorry you're in pain & feeling down today, roll on Tuesday! It was pain in my feet, particularly my big toes that took me to the doctors. She suspected it was RA & bloods & x-rays confirmed her diagnosis. I was waddling cause it hurt so much so can sympathise. Sorry can't suggest anything except resting up as much as poss. Hope all goes well on Tuesday.
