Well it didn't happen ladies the anaesthetist didn't show up so it's been cancelled yet again till next tues getting really fed up now

I'm actually ok I thought I would be more angry but I'm just chilled it will be next tues now it's becoming a bit of a joke actually between me and the nurses they were ever sooo nice x

Lucky they didn't get bad tempered me!!! I got cancelled 5 times for a spinal op I was SO mad !

Even if you're not sure that you want to make a complaint, it might be worth speaking to your local PALS (Patients Advice and Liason Service) at the hospital. I have complained many times due to lack of staff on the wards poor nurses are run ragged. I don't mean the quality of the staff there I mean the lack of them. It seems when they are understaffed they don't have the funding for extra staff from the bank nurses I wonder if this is why your anaesthetist was not replaced... I have never once had a reply to any of my complaints! Lol

Oh dear I do sympathise. Had a similar problem a couple of months ago when they ran out of theatre time. If it's any consolation I was told they do everything in their power to make sure it doesn't happen a second time and true to their word I had my op on the second appointment. Hope it goes well next Tuesday x
