What is causing excessive water from the Nasal passages and Eyes, I am on Prednisalone, and Heart medication Bisoporol, Candesartan,Duretics

Hello, I would go to the out of hours pharmacist to get some advice. From what you describe I wonder if you could have hayfever which I experience myself but only a health professional can give a definite diagnosis. (nhs.uk/Conditions/Hay-fever... All the best, Fran

you don't say if you are taking any immunosuppressant drugs for your RA , but I read somewhere that they can cause excess mucus production so that would account for it if it's true , I have the opposite problem and feel like I have a blocked nose , but do check with your doc.

Hi Julie, I have been on Sulfasalizene and Methotrexate, but stopped a long time ago and the excess is not mucus its actually water, Thanks for your input

Had the same problem. Stopped the Bisoprolol and the running eyes and nose gradually stopped. Others on Bisoprolol I have talked to have had this problem to verying degrees.
