I had a Potts fracture 30 years ago in my right ankle. Now arthritic- went to ipswich hospital. No go 4 an op. But great pain. Pester???

Think you do need more advice, I had a foot fracture and was told if I got the deformed bones redone it might actually worsen things by the foot surgeon, so the podiatrist is making me hard splints" good luck

Thank you very much. Have struggled hard with the idea 'that I have arthritis!!' I should have had the plate removed after the Potts fracture but I am going to take your advice and see more people. Best wishes. Morag
