An overview of Lymphoma
This was an informative read SharOn. So I was wondering if your lymphnodes can increase and does this mean your cancer is progressing? Also can this happen and your blood work be coming back ok? I'm always nervous of the blood work for some reason not showing if we are in need of getting checked out further. Has anyone had this experience ? Blood work being good but something else has shown up? Thanks
As far as I have gathered so far, progression would show up as swollen nodes in new areas (or new ones in old areas) + symptoms such as drenching sweats, tiredness, unexplained pain + indicators in the blood tests. Indolent lymphomas can become aggressive and treatment can address that so vigilance is necessary. I doubt if you could have progression combined with normal bloods but I'm open to correction so someone else may have a different experience.
