Does everyone agree think that stress can make symptoms of CTCL worse. I have a job that's really begun to get stressful and noticed that my skin began to itch and peel again or is it just how the condition ebbs and flows? I am scheduled to see my Dr. in a few days , but was wondering what everyone's take on this is. Thank you

Stress
Hi,
I don't know about your skin condition, but it is well known that stress causes all sorts of things, including cancer. It would be good if you could somehow manage to be as stress free as possible. I go for walks, read and pray a lot. Seems to help me. I had NH Follicular lymphoma, diagnosed in March of 2011, had my Bendamustine/Rituximab treatments and only 2 maintenance treatments and am in remission. I pray everything goes well for you and this skin condition clears up.
Take care,
Jean
Jean thank you for taking the time to reply to my post.
I have a rare cancer called Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma . It manifests on the skin ,is usually slow growing and caught in time doesn't spread internally .The skin can get very itchy and peel. I've been on steroid creams ,methotrexate and the ultimate treatment is "lightbox" therapy. The skin has to clear a bit before using the therapy box. Just seemed the more stress I have, the itchier and redder my skin gets. My doctor confirmed this yesterday. I am determined to try to relax and find other employment. I am so happy to hear that you're in remission, keep up the good work and stay well .You are in my prayers as well.
Only the very best to you, Please keep me posted .Keep positive thoughts!
