Has anyone been treated with methotrexate or azathioprine? If so was it successful ?

I was prescribed azathioprine last year. I took it for ten days and thought it was working well. On the tenth night I awoke violently sick and was both sweating so much so that I changed my pyjamas within an hour then I was shivering with cold. I felt really ill and was able to see a doctor lunch time, still sweating and shivering who told me that I had a reaction to azathioprine. I continued ill for a further three days. My nodules soon returned to their normal unhealthy state.

I had methotrexate and ended up with mouth ulcers and feeling lousy. Not recommended as far as I am concerned.
