How do you make sure that you balance your own personal life with parenting?

My husband and I try very hard to have some time to ourselves. We try to do a dinner together a few times a month. When our children are in school we have coffee together in the morning before work. I make an effort to meet friends for drinks/coffee/ or a quick lunch. I really make sure to do this for my own sanity.

Thank you so much for sharing! I think it's great that you put so much effort into doing that for yourself - it's so easy to let things slide, but it's so necessary to stay positive and relax from time to time.
