I would never say I was an expert but have living well with my transplant since 10/15/1999...almost 25 years.
I cannot say I'm an expert, but I've been through 22 years of kidney disease and I'm 3 years in waiting for a transplant. Not yet on dialysis.
I've only had my new kidney for three days, so I'm surely NOT an expert. I did alot of study on the subject, however, because my mother was also a kidney recipient, back in the 1970's. I knew I'd be affected by the same condition, so....
