Hi, I’m 8 weeks pregnant and my bras are digging in. What kind of bra do I need to buy? I don’t have loads of money so I don’t want to be buying a new bra every month. How do I do this online??

Thanks

Hi I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and at around 10 weeks I bought a pack of 3 sports bras from Primark for £10, they are stretching and comfy so have lasted me until now. I was a 34B before pregnancy and I bought size M which I still wear now. However, I will probably get some more in L very soon as they feel a bit tight now, more so on my ribs than my boobs at the band is tighter. Primark is obviously shut atm but I'm sure you could find some cheap sports type bras online, maybe even at supermarkets that do clothes! :) Hope this helps.

Peacocks do great kind of generic wire free crop top style ones (not quite sports bra) they're comfy AF, super stretchy and about a fiver maybe? It's all I wear now 😂

I would look at places like sainsburys add and Tesco Clothing ranges they’re about a tenner for one or a pack of two sometimes get non wired bra and get a back extender with the extra clips so as you get bigger you can just wide. The back. As you get to end of pregnancy I’d just get nursing bras in the next size I got a pack of two for 20 ish quid one white and one black with white dots lived in these for the first year even after stopping feeding as they’re really comfy

I bought one of those elastic bra extenders (from eBay, it was less than £2) which was probably one of my best buys! Meant I could carry on wearing my normal bras for a good few months. I eventually had to cave in and buy a couple of larger bras which I got online for less than £15 each and the extender has come in handy again as I’m growing out of them now! I’d second the recommendations of sports bras too - I’ve found it much more comfortable to wear these at night rather than no bra as pregnancy progresses. Again, eBay or amazon are great for cheap online versions of lockdown is effecting your normal shopping plans x

Depends on your size, I love these style, you can find some even cheaper on Amazon:

They’re not very supportive though so I also waited for a few months (as my boobs kept getting bigger) and bought an expensive one with a flexiwire (instead of the hard underwire) from Hot Milk.

Hi 🙂

What I have bought for myself was bra extenders on eBay which were £1. Found them very useful and saved loads on buying

new bras. The only time I had to buy new bra was when breast started to sweep up. I would recommend soft / stretchy fabric bra which would give with a bit of enlargement. For me Marks and Spencer best bras and even now can click and collect, try and return in store if no good x
