i had my first ultrasound today and it showed an empty sac. what does that mean ? my doctor told me to go back tom but i am too stressed

Was this your first scan ? It may be a blighted ovum happens when a fertilised egg implants in the womb , but a baby doesn't grow. The medical term is "anembryonic pregnancy". Sadly, when this happens, it results in an early miscarriage. You may have pain and bleeding with a blighted ovum, but it can also happen with no symptoms. Fingers crossed I’m wrong and have my fingers crossed xx

i have no signs of miscarriage except for earlier. at 4am i saw a pink spotting at my vagina but it's too light so i thought it's fince since i searched for it.

You can have silent missed miscarriages hunni hopefully not this time please keep me updated xx chin up x

Aww I had a blighted ovum at 12 weeks I was bleeding and miscarried. Did the nurse not explain what would happen next?
