the best is to use organic ones (I switched all my make up and deodorants to organic before I got pregnant- the brand called Lavera) but then again- I am using Bio oil to avoid stretch marks (luckily in my family no women has them : even mum after having 5 kids, and I am37w and have not got them yet - either thanks to Bio oil or inherited genes) and it's not organic and contains chemicals that I think are associated with cancer.... I think you need to do your own research to make the best decision for your self and baby,x

I agree with you! Also marketing is a bitch! Often says on the pack - Organic , but all they mean is that there's an organic oil in it, but rest of the ingredients are not... I have heard scary things about Johnsons & Johnsons baby products that now I am not sure what to choose for my baby's bath time (wash and creams) as it all has harsh chemicals in it... :( and as mums, we want the the best for them! I suppose we just need to reasearch and must make best informed/financial choice we can!x

I suppose we just have to remember, years ago before the internet, Mums had to just do what they thought was best without being able to do any research - all those kids turned out just fine! x

The problem is organic has no legal definition. For some reason it's been used in marketing and people assume organic means good and chemical free. Even if the product (usually food related) you are using is chemical free the farm next door could be spraying every chemical under the sun and its still is ok to call it organic.

In terms of toiletries it's even worse as food has tighter regulations where products not as much. Definition of an organic chemical is anything that contains carbon or it's derivatives and that's alot of chemicals covered.

Totally agree with you. Looks like we just need to make best decision we can. Hope you're feeling good and enjoying this pregnancy!

Today (and next few days) it will be raining here, but all last week I was gardening, planting vegetables and flowers in my bikini and got some tan (well- mostly I am happy for increasing my Vitamin D reserves!!!)x

4 days into second trimester and just got up from a nap! Could do without the wind!

As long as the bub is ok I can live with it but I don't remember anyone telling me that they were having these symptoms. Glad you made the most of the sun.
