Another warm day pushing 💯 degrees today and tomorrow 🥵 Still dealing with dizziness but I pushed through it yesterday and trimmed and mowed the lawn 👍🏼. Was pooped and took a nap and then my buddy stopped by and visited. His wife has had MS now for 26 years and has been wheelchair bound for the last 12 years. She’s getting to be a handful with changing her 4+ times a day. He has a lift to get her out of recliner to bathroom 🚽 and her gogo scooter that she loves. She got a $15,000. Dollar wheelchair that stands you upright and flat that you can sleep in but doesn’t use it 🤷‍♂️ His granddaughter is living with them and going to nursing school so that’s a great help. Home health comes in three times a week and tends to bed sores. They are both 76 years old and Hugh still drives and does pretty good at his age. Anyway kinda a little sad story but it is what it is and we all just stay positive and move forward 🙏👍🏼😉

Another day of 70s and sunshine here. I live for summer/fall as our winters are so long.

Sounds like your friend is a devoted husband, I'm glad he is getting some help to take care of his wife.

I hope your dizziness gets better! I’m sorry for your friend and his wife it is scary to think that’s where I could be down the road. I’ll keep pushing myself. The dr said I shouldn’t but he doesn’t understand what it is to lose so much! Plus I listen like I heard him. But I’m not good at doing it. Lol

Hope your heatwave breaks! For us our heat wave is ending today. Keep Rozy cool and pet her for me

Just info I learned on the way (of life): a fast way to cool down a dog that has gone into heat exhaustion is to get the pads of their paws wet (Spray down with water).
