Good Morning sunshine βοΈ We have skipped spring and jumped into summer. Now itβs flood time for many in the west. Insurance is so crazy sometimes when they finally approve meds. I have been having migraines almost daily and my neurologist gave me samples of Nurtec which are taking the edge off. You take one as you feel a headache starting by putting it under your tongue π and let it dissolve and itβs been taking my migraine from an 8 to 4 in 20 minutes. The problem is if taken at night I am up all night, no sleep. Now the crazy news insurance approved it but for 8 pills π for 15 days π€·ββοΈ So what do you do have one good day then a crappy one or do them eight days in a row and suffer for seven? Doesnβt make since π It was $1200. Dollars for 8 pills and my cost luckily was only $25. Not sure yet whatβs going to go on but I know it needs to be adjusted. The crazy struggles we have insurance companies and Medicare π€·ββοΈ. Anyway going to be pushing 80 today ππΌππ€

oooo 80! Ewe. Soon itβll be 100. Yuck. Lol. Enjoy the sun though! Welcome back! Glad you are doing better! Insurance and the price of drugs (medicine) is astronomical! Good luck getting everything sorted out! Best wishes to you and yours!
My grandma had the same issue with the migraine med she was on. Not sure what the name was, but they limited her to the number of pills she could have at one time. Insurance companies have no understanding on how meds work...agravating!
Glad you're back! We missed you.
Glad you were able to get a medicine to help.
keep working on your insurance issues. don't give up even though they are extremely difficult. thanks for posting. i love the funnies.
Wow, eight pills for $1200, and now youβre going for 80, Kenu ? You must either be filthy rich, or won the lottery! Just teasing you. I wonder how medications can be so expensive.
Great to have you back and no that you are ok. I am sorry about the migraines and I hope that you soon get your insurance sorted out. 80* is too hot. 70* is just nice. Take care Ken, blessings Jimeka π€πΎ
I like the cartoon, but as a retired firefighter, it brings back some sad memories of this happening on our local freeways that did not end well.
