Good morning wind 💨 and rain/snow mixture. Wind gusts up to 55 mph today and cooler weather coming and changing to snow later today ⛄️. Not sure if I mentioned but still have home health care till the 28th. Hopefully 🤞🏼 healed enough by then. Getting out a little more so that’s nice ☺️. Hope everyone has a good day 🙏💨😉

brrr - sounds cold where you are! All that wind! Your post definitely illustrates what my mom did when I was sick (flat gingerale, canned soup, saltines, tv, and some vicks)!! Too funny

We're having terrible winds, too! It was all I could do to hang onto the storm door when I let the dog out, and he's so bothered by it that he goes as far as the front steps and just stops. My son's expecting a 3-pound package to be delivered today, and he texted me to grab it so the wind doesn't blow it away.

Kenu it is crazy weather all over but seems to land here in spudville. I like your safety kit.you tube you can find so many uses for vicks etc including cleaning corroded pipes! hope you heal swiftly...sending a smile your way.

One of the items missing is calamine lotion for chicken pox, measles, and rashes from poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac...we played OUTSIDE afterall.🤣😂🤣😂

Yes, both my Grandma and my Mom used every one of these! Calamine lotion for anything that itched or produced a rash, and Iodine for the really serious wounds! Ken, I agree with NorasMom, I want to be like you when I grow up. You are an inspiration to me, and one of the most amazing people I have ever known! It is almost Spring in NC! We have some mean winds in the 30 and 40 mph range, but temps in the 70's today and 80's tomorrow! Then highs in the 40's with cold rain for the weekend. Still better than most of the USA! Had 7up or Sprite, but the rest are spot on. Cold in MI with freezing rain. School was cancelled early this morning..didn't cancel last night like a lot of schools did. Currently 32 feels like 22 with an Ice Strom Warning until 4am tomorrow. Wind gusts up to 40mph. Will be staying in the house where it is warm, continue drinking my hot tea. Stay warm everyone.

I was in high school before I ever got to taste ginger ale, and all I could think was "OMG, Mum. What is wrong with you forcing Sprite down my throat all these years?!" Unfortunately, Coke paid our bills, so Coke products were the only ones my dad would have in the house until the day he died. He was horrified to learn that I gave my own kids ginger ale. 😄
