I was having a good Saturday until on my way home. I was driving down the road and there was a motorcycle behind me. Following but not on my tail. I went to make a right hand turn and there was a truck waiting at the stop sign to come out of that road. As I went to make the turn he just pulled out. And bam he struck the motorcycle coming behind me. The guy on the motorcycle went flying across the road. It was very scary to witness. Thank God the guy was still conscious. Stayed until the police and medical help arrived. He was not in critical condition somehow after being hit. He said after 30 years of riding his bike this was his first time being hit. I still can't stop thinking about it. He must have also landed on his head because the top of his head was bleeding. We don't have a helmet law here.

That's terrible, sorry you had to see that. On the other hand you were there to help him which was a good thing. We don't have a helmet law here either. My husband I used to ride all the time & I always wore my helmet not just for safety to keep the bugs out of my face as I had a face shield on mine. When riding in the summertime there's a lot of bugs in the air. If you get them on your car windshield you'll get them in your face! 😂

Good point. And I've always thought the same thing too. I wouldn't want to get splattered with bugs as I was going down the road.
