Good one. I haven't been able to use vacuum since hubby came home from hospital after open-heart surgery. I have a nylon bristle broom that does very well. BTW, he's getting better every day.

it has got lots and lots of dirt on me,around me,everywhere i look, i tried to tell Mr. Dirt he is not allowed inside, outside only!

My daughter bought me a smart slow cooker for Christmas. What does a smart slow cooker do, everything my old Low, High, Keep Warm one does, but it has to be programed remotely.1+ hours later, I finally got it to stay on more than the default 4 hours. So I guess it really is smart. At least smarter than I am, because after an hour of attempting to program it past 4 hours, it was almost half way done? But it does have 2 holes in the cover, so it doesn't sputter like the old one did. But with the slow cooker and computer to run it on the island, it does take up a lot of space. Maybe I can trade covers with the new and old slow cookers, and that would be the cat's meow? Simple controls, no sputtering cover. I'll ask my daughter's cat?

Hilarious! I'm so tired of people worrying about government or whoever spying on us. When I was a senior in high school (1964), the term "Big Brother" spying on us was popular. Government has been following us for over 50 years - why worry now? My brother won't even download streaming apps (Like Prime or IMBD or Peacock) or use Facebook so he "can't be spyed" on. But, he does have and use a cell phone. I don't bother to reason with him. I have no secrets anyway. I am more concerned about God watching over me and want to please Him daily!
Our daughter bought me an Instant Pot/Air Fryer. I doubt I will ever use another plug in appliance or my slow cookers. It does have a slow cooker setting on it. I use the Instant Pot to cook just about everything! It saves me so much time and effort in the kitchen. I cook fresh sliced carrots in 4 minutes, without water boiling all the nutrients away. It's just amazing. It even boils eggs - which is great for me since I tend to forget I put on eggs to boil and forget them until I hear a popping noise: the pot boils dry and the eggs start popping open!
