Hi jimmpt your right it is hard! This time of year makes it even harder! Do you have any hobbies you like to do? 🤗💕🌠

You’re right- it can be hard to deal. Praying that you can find strength to do what makes you happy and fight off the negative.

It is very hard, especially as the days grow darker earlier. What helps me is staying busy and finding ways to connect with others. Parks and recreation departments, YMCAs, libraries all offer a variety of free or low cost classes and activities (so do senior centers if those are available). There are all sorts of volunteer opportunities (schools, service organizations, animal shelters). I bake and cook to share with other singles who are busier than I and volunteer at a local 3rd grade classroom. Loneliness fades when we are outside of ourselves.

I'm glad you came here to talk with us. Many of us understand your feelings and experience. Very few humans like becoming invisible, silent, and unnoticed. I hope you find a solution that fits you. You can also consider asking a medical professional for help if you begin to sink into depression. Let us know how you fare. Please!

I lost most of my friends after my MS. But, I do have a couple of close friends. You need to stay in touch with close friends. Family too. You need to reach out to them. Many people don't know how to reach out to people with disabilities. You need to break the ice.
