I like everyone’s response here in New England every ones weather sounds great except in the UK we don’t have our air conditioners on but I definitely have my heat on. I am glad I don’t have gas heat just two towns over the have no heat because it has been turned off to three towns and now they say they are not going to have it until mid December. NOT TO MY HUSBAND AND SELF NEVER BY A HOUSE WITH GAS. no heat, or being able to cook and have hot water. NO THANK YOU. BTWN you all and me I need to find something to do with my spare time after reading what I have written I truly need to find meaning with my life. After being told I can’t work and being unable to drive I need something in my life because like my mother used to day “Don’t be like a bump in a log” which means sitting around doing nothing.
Some times I feel like a hot air ballon floating and can’t find a place to land.
Well that’s all I have to say for now every one have a good day. My balloon 🎈 and I need to find some where to ready.

What's going on with the gas ssdw1958 are they still working out from the explosions 2months ago? I have gas heat and I hate it. Makes it way to dry in the home. The humidifier is on all the time now!
So.... You want something to do huh? 🤔 Well I have website's for that my friend!! 😂🤣
The websites would be a good thing. And about the gas explosions it is from a couple of months ago and now they are saying these people are not going to have there gas running until December 19th. When they told them it would be the third week in November. And they wonder why theses people are upset they don’t have hot water, can’t cook on there gas stoves and have no heat. You see maybe I just get caught up with these things and this is so wrong what these people are going through. It is cold here in the high twenties to the 40*f That is cold.
I’m just one of those people who feels for others. If that gas company did there job right this would never had happened.
Ok I’ll stop. You asked and I wanted to let you know what and how it happened and the sad part is one boy who was just 18 years old and he had just got his drivers license that day and was sitting in his car at his friends house and it imploded and when it did the chimney fell on the car he was in and killed him. I hate to be negative but really. That is just me people for get about what had happened. Especially the ones who don’t live there.
I know it I think I just have to shut off the TV which I am trying to do. But sometimes I just have it hear some one talking i guess you call it back ground voice.
Umm then don't listen to the news silly!! 😂 I hate the news!! It depresses me! It's sad! All the time! And if I watch it in the morning and at night it really affects me. 😢 And takes my happy away!😒 So I look up the local station, and have some other apps... See what I need. And done.😄
Sandra, glad your ok, I color in my adult positive thinking color book. It's very relaxing & uplifting, love ya!💚💗❤💙👍😍 Blessings & 💐& Prayers 🙏For ya!---Jazzy🌹💜
Do you knit or crochet? I do not, but I quilt, and when I can no longer quilt, well, I will find something else to do. I agree with you, you really need to stay busy.
I have a home that is heated with gas, dryer is gas, I cook with gas, and my hot water tank is gas. So, I would definitely be SOOL if I was in the town where all the gas problems occurred. That is 25 minutes away. I heard that they were not going to have gas until December! How grateful that I am to have gas.
Yes I am glad that didn’t happen to you. I have oil and the other appliances are electric. I need to have my wood stove fitted and the chimney lining fixed. I feel with the new windows that our furnace isn’t going on as much as last years.
When I retired many years ago, I friend asked me to join her china painting class. I had never done anything creative like that in my life and I enjoyed it for 3 years until the teacher moved to another state. Anyway be open to try something you’ve never done. Something will present itself! Now I’ve joined a group of former co workers who have a knitting club once a month. I’m not a very good knitter, the cap I’m knitting is not even an inch long. But maybe I’m not a knitter 🙃
ssdw1958 There are many ways to fill time and regain a sense of productivity. I think the important aspect is to tailor whatever you do to your interests and abilities. Many of the activities that were once available to me are difficult now for one reason or another, but others have risen. For example, I like baking and still do that well, so I use this to busy myself as well as to express my gratitude to friends and neighbors who have helped me out when I was in need. Even my mailman has been pleased by a bag of simple cookies or a loaf of banana bread left for him along with the outgoing mail. You will find what fits your talents and abilities. Remember that old song, this little candle, light of mine, I'm going to let it shine? So, shine on!!!
